I got this Rock Band Drum set quickly and was a great deal. I definitely recommend checking out Amazon.com before you buy anything.
Before I bought "Rock Band", I was a die hard Guitar Hero game, I even had every Guitar Hero Game thats been released, and one Rock Band Track Pack(AC~DC). Overall, I would recommend these drums to anyone looking to stay in shape, or just have a good time. For me it's a great way to stay in shape for sports, and most of all it's fun.
After just one song, I was hooked. It's very sturdy, and can take a good beating. But anyway's I was a wiz on guitar, so when I bought "Rock Band", I decided to give the drums a try.
The design is pretty cool, To me it's better than Guitar Hero's drums. I was playing the drums for about five hours straight. And boy is it a workout.
The foot pedal makes it all feel more real, but to me thats the hardest feature to play, in Hard difficulty anyway.You can even make it taller or shorter. Later.
Bought this for my boys last Christmas (08). The height adjustability is great. It still works great and has lots of time on it. We have had no problems with it. It's a must add on for your rock band games. My boys and I highly enjoy it.
This drum kit is surprisingly well-built and substantive. Harder than guitar, but lots of fun. The drum pads are wonderfully responsive. Playing drums in Rock Band is so much fun. My only caveat is that that foot pedal is hard to get lined up nicely; if I'm centered on the drums, my foot wants to be a little farther east than the foot pedal can be placed. Probably smaller people wouldn't have that problem.
